-Honda has released the first official pictures of its highly anticipated 2012 CR-V. the car looks much better in the official pictures.
The Japanese carmaker is not announcing the picture as the production version of the 2012 CR-V Yet. Instead, they have named this extremely close to production vehicle as the 2012 CR-V Concept. The new car is is expected to hit the dealerships in the USA by the end of 2011. In its latest avatar.
The CR-V will retain its 2.4-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine. Power would go up slightly from the current 180bhp, and so would fuel efficiency. The 2.2-liter i-DTEC diesel would also be a part of the package for the European countries (India too, in all probability) and would dish out more than 165bhp. The new CR-V will be available with both FWD and AWD. There will also be a new 6-speed auto in the offing.
